Ash trees infected with Ash Dieback disease have been identified along this section of the Greenway and there has been a couple of failures recently. These infected trees have to be felled in the interest of public safety due to the high risk of further failures as their condition deteriorates due to the disease.

Whilst the felling works are being carried out between 8.30am and 3 pm the path will be closed in the interest of public safety and the notices posted show the diversion route for cyclists.
